Army continues relief, rescue operation

RawalpindiPakistan Army continues relief and rescue operation in flood affected parts of Sindh. As many as 2000 Army Jawans,2 MI 17 Helicopters,100 Motorized Boats, heavy vehicles and machinery, are employed in relief and rescue operation.
Acccording to ISPR , Pakistan Army has established Army Relief Camps and Medical Camps at Sanghar, Mir Pur Khas,,Umer Kot and Badin. So far, 60,000 persons have been rescued and 900 Tons of ration has also been distributed among affectees through helicopters and by road.
To provide safe drinking water in flood affected areas 10 water filtration plants have also been established. Meanwhile Army Doctors treated more than 45,000 patients in medical camps and Mobile Medical Units in all flood affected districts. Pakistan Army will keep doing its ideal to help their distress brethren in flood affected areas of Sindh utilizing all available resources at its disposal.
